to having a summer filled with a lot of hullabaloo, I've managed to fit in some time redecorating my studio. Along with painting the walls white and hanging the chandeliers I found at the flea market, I now have brilliant light in order to do my work with finesse. I still need to repaint the table and dresser and I'm thinking about painting a gold ribbon on the wall...or something fun, but I'm happy that I got this much done while still making sure the kiddos had a fun summer.
I am really looking forward to the kids returning to school so that I can spend some time creating all of the designs that have been swimming around in my head all summer. Making jewelry is my passion and I miss it terribly. I'm so happy to have a peaceful place that I can call my own. In a little over two weeks, you can find me here...smiling softly and playing with my beads.
I'm always looking for unique ways to display things that are not only organized, but also attractive. I found an old terrarium that I painted, removed some of the glass and put a curtain rob through it so I could hang some strands of beads with sari silk ribbon. I adore the way it looks.
Yesterday, I purchased myself and Olloclip, a 3~in~one photo lens so that I could improve the quality of my photos that I'll be listing on Etsy. I've had fun playing with it and can hardly wait to take some photos of my fresh new designs.
I hope you are also having a wonderful summer doing what YOU enjoy!!
