"Sometimes a break from your routine is the very thing you need."
As you might have noticed, I've been on a well needed vacation from creating jewelry for the past couple of months. I decided to take the entire summer off, so I could see to it that the kids had a summer vacation to remember. We've had some really good times ~ a fun family get away, lots of pool time, sleepovers, camping, road trips, relatives visit, flea markets and even some leisurely days sprinkled in.
I've also managed to squeeze in a little time to get organized in my studio and felt it was time to
do a big de~stash. I'll be unloading some of my excess beads and findings in my Etsy shop soon. I'm really excited to
start fresh with some of the wonderful new ideas I've been dreaming about. I have a new relaxed attitude about things, and let me tell you....it feels really good!
I'm going to finish up the summer by giving my studio a fresh coat of paint, so I can feel awesome in my space in order to create some fabulous new pieces.
I can't wait to get back to making jewelry. It won't be long now, as the kids go back to school August 6th.
I hope you are having a great summer and making some wonderful memories. Tootles for now...
